Quinoa Burger – Basic Vegan Burger Recipe

This is a basic recipe that you can use and change the ingredients as you wish. 

Ingredients:

  • Quinoa
  • Onion, garlic – Crushed
  • Chives, parsley, black pepper, paprika
  • Grated Carrot
  • Soy sauce
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Corn oil
  • Flour whole wheat 
  • Oats 
  1. To make the burger, use a pan and saute the quinoa adding water until its cooked. Then, add the carrots, onion, and garlic. When they are all soft turn off and let cool.
  2. While waiting for the mixture to cool, get a bowl and add the oats and soy sauce. Add this to the quinoa and carrots mix. 
  3. You can now add the other ingredients like flour, black pepper, paprika, parsley, and chives.
  4. Mash them all very well.
  5. Shape the burger to the size you like with your hands. Put in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  6. In high heat, you can now grill your burger!

You can change the recipe by changing the vegetables you are using. For example: Change the carrots for grated beetroot! Add beans and other vegetables or legumes in your mix. In the cookbook, you will find loads of ideas and suggestions for your grocery list!
